A photograph of a bridesmaid being carried to her room with her head in a sick bucket has swept social media – with many saying they can relate.

The image shows an unnamed woman wearing a pale pink dress being carried into a lift by a fellow wedding guest, while a bucket dangles from her head. 

The picture was shared on Facebook by wedding venue dressers Woodyatt Warner -based in Sale, Greater Manchester – who commented: ‘Novel way to get a Bridesmaid to her room without her vomiting everywhere.’ 

Other social media users were quick to react to the post, which has already been shared over 1,000 times.

The photograph appears to have been originally uploaded on Imgur last week, where it has been viewed nearly 150,000 times.It is not clear where the photograph was originally taken.

Many praised the ‘genius’ technique, with one simply commenting: ‘That’s brilliant.’ 

Another added: ‘If it’s stupid but it works, it ain’t stupid.’

Meanwhile, others suggested it must have been a fun wedding, with one Facebook user posting: ‘Amazing that’s a wedding I wanted to be at.’

Some commented that the technique might come in handy for others, with one posting: ‘This is a really good idea.’ 

Another joked: ‘Well usually I am carried out on a stretcher so that will make a welcome change’.

However, others were less impressed with the photograph, with one person posting: ‘Is this what we find funny?  Is this how people think we should act?

 ‘No self esteem or self respect. So so embarrassing…… have s[o]me self respect…..’
