Photographer who has worked with Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande is accused of ‘predatory’ behavior

A celebrity photographer who has shot photos of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Ariana Grande is being accused of ‘predatory’ behavior for allegedly refusing to work with a model for free unless she sent him nude photos.

Marcus Hyde, 32, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to share an image of a model posing in a shower wearing a nude see-through bodysuit, writing: ‘Who wants to shoot?’

After sending a direct message to the photographer to show her interest in working with him, Los Angeles-based model and interior design student Sunnaya Nash posted screenshots of their exchange, alleging Hyde was going to charge her $2,000 for photos unless she sent him nude pictures of herself beforehand.

‘I don’t have nude photos. I’m comfortable shooting lingerie and partial nudity,’ she told him at the start of the conversation, according to the messages she shared.

‘It’s 2k then,’ he allegedly hit back.

‘Lol but nude is free?’ she asked, and he responded ‘Ya.’

Nash then agreed to pose nude but told him that she didn’t want to send him naked photos of herself.

‘Then don’t,’ he said.

But when Nash asked if he still wanted to shoot her, he once again told her it would cost her $2,000.

‘Bc I won’t send you nude of myself before shooting?’ she asked, and Hyde allegedly told her: ‘Yeah. Gotta see if your [sic] worth it.’

Nash sent a ‘hahahahaaaaaa’ in response, but he told her he was ‘serious.’

‘Yeah miss me with s**t boo,’ she told him, saying he was ‘wack.’

‘Find someone else. I’ll keep shooting celebs,’ he said at the end of the conversation.

Nash also posted a screengrab of Hyde’s response to one of her followers who had messaged him in support of her.

‘Suck a fat big d**k,’ he allegedly wrote back.

Hyde’s Instagram Stories post and Nash’s screenshots were shared by Diet Prada, an Instagram account that serves as a fashion watchdog.

‘Gross @marcushyde . @kimkardashian @arianagrande , come get your boy and teach him some decency,’ reads the post. ‘Last night, Los Angeles model and interior design student @sunnnaya replied to the celebrity photographer’s Instagram story seeking models for a shoot. What transpired in their DM was nothing short of the typical predatory douchebaggery you’d expect via shady Instagram “castings” by slimy dudes. With her followers backing her up and sharing her post, Hyde had a simple reply: “suck a fat big d**k”. That’s sure to get you points with the ladies, Marcus.’

The post captured the attention of Alec Baldwin’s model daughter Ireland, who shared a screengrab on her Instagram Stories on Monday, writing: ‘WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW ! ! ! !’

Diet Prada also shared Instagram Stories posts about the photographer, including model Charlie Qu’s public letter accusing Hyde of rape and Kesler Tran, another photographer who has worked with Kim, of assault.

‘Four years ago, on Nov. 18 2013, LA photographer Kesler Tran assaulted me. A year before that Marcus Hyde raped me. I have kept quiet for son long because I feared no one would believe my word against theirs and this would sabotage my modeling career,’ she wrote at the beginning of her post, which she shared in January 2018.

The model wrote that she was ‘confident’ she had a chance at getting justice with Tran, claiming she had photos of her injuries, a voice recording of his confession, and a police report detailing the events of that night.

However, she said she was told she didn’t’ have a case against him because there was alcohol involved, it happened behind closed doors, and they were both injured.

‘I tried to accept that there would be no consequences for their actions and move on, but I keep hearing the same stories about them from models and other industry people over the past four years,’ she wrote.

‘You are not alone and these predators are thriving in our silence. They rely on the fear and shame they invoke in their victims so they can continue to prey on others. They will not stop until we stop them.’

Tran has denied the model’s accusations, telling DailyMail.com that he has evidence to ‘pursue defamation of character and file assault charges on her.’

He claims she brought a bottle of alcohol and drank all of it before she went ‘ape s**t’ on him, which he said he filmed.

Tran said the aforementioned video was filed with the police, and he also claims to have text messages in which she asked to shoot with him again ‘after this ordeal like nothing ever happened.’

Photographer Julian Medina also slammed Hyde on Instagram while sharing screengrabs of their alleged conversation on Instagram

‘Julian your day is coming,’ Hyde wrote, according to the messages.

You’re a B**h. Unblock my account,’ Julian responded, prompting the photographer to write back: ‘My ppl got info on u.’

‘@marcushyde you’re a piece of s**t. Eat a d**k. Learn how to respect woman. Stop taking advantage of models and artists,’ Medina wrote in the caption of his post.

Nash’s post has inspired other models to come forward with similar allegations.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Hyde for comment.

Accusations of Hyde’s predatory behavior come nine months after the photographer survived a nearly-fatal car accident while driving in Malibu.

Kim and Ariana were among his close friends and clients who to social media to call for prayers and wish for his speedy recovery.

The reality star and her husband Kanye West donated $25,000 to their friend after his accident and asked fans for their support too.

‘If you are able to help the family would be so grateful!” Kim tweeted at the time.

A month after the accident, a Go Fund Me was created on his behalf and raised $38,218 for his medical expenses.

Originally from Virginia, Hyde has built a reputation as one of the most talented young photographers since moving to Los Angeles five years ago.

The photographer famously took pictures of Kim recreating Bo Derek’s iconic look from the 1979 film ’10,’ shooting the images near the reality star’s Malibu home.

After the beach, they booked a ‘dirty, grungy’hotel for additional photos to round out the shoot, and within hours Hyde’s Polaroids were everywhere.

Kanye even called with his stamp of approval and asked if Hyde wanted to work with him on future projects.

After working with a number of high-profile artists, including Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, and Jhené Aiko, the photographer himself has one million Instagram followers.
