Pia Miller shares her own #MeToo experience

Pia Miller, 34, has shared her own #MeToo experience.

The former Home and Away star, who started modelling at age 14, recalled being involved in ‘inappropriate’ photo shoots as a teenager – however she didn’t realise what was happening at the time.

‘Thinking about it now, there were some moments that I can go, “That’s kind of questionable” but at the time, I was so young that things went over my head,’ she told 9Style on Tuesday.

She added: ‘I did have my mum and my managers and stuff there always having my back so I was never in any danger and I never felt threatened or anything like that.

‘Themes of photo shoots and such, looking back now, they were so inappropriate for a teen child. Provocative or sexualised, any air of that I think is really inappropriate.’

Years after her teenage modelling career ended, Pia is now a mother-of-two and one of Australia’s most famous TV actresses.
