Pia Miller’s explosive text messages hint at bitter split

Pia Miller’s split with ex-fiancé Tyson Mullane earlier this year may not have been so ‘amicable’ after all.

The former Home and Away star, 35, was pictured drafting what appeared to be a lengthy text message to Tyson during a solitary stroll in Sydney on June 2.

She walked through Clovelly Headland looking rather glum and introspective, before sitting on a rock and opening up a Notes document on her iPhone.

The Notes file contained what appeared to be a post-breakup letter addressed to Tyson, although he was not mentioned by name.

The document was likely a draft version of an SMS message Pia intended to send to her former partner following a disagreement.  

Part of the text read: ‘I was so hurt when I heard that you were badmouthing me – it propelled me into a state of complete disassociation and contempt.’

Hmm! If this draft message was intended for Tyson, it suggests that their break-up may not be as ‘amicable’ as previous reports have claimed

The remainder of the message is partially obscured, but reads: ‘I appreciate that you followed it up and sought to rectify it – but I did too and she swears that you were indeed saying that I was a psycho and that you… “dodged a bullet” at Orchard St. [a juice bar in Bondi]’. 

Pia then writes that the situation ‘has been hard’, but it’s difficult to understand the context of what she means here because her iPhone screen is covered up.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Pia’s representatives at The Collective Management for comment.

Pia, who is currently on holiday in Greece, split with Tyson earlier this year and is now rumoured to be dating Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts.

The new relationship was recently discovered by eagle-eyed fans who noticed the pair exchanging flirty comments on Instagram.

The former soap star dated Tyson between late 2015 and early 2019, with the couple getting engaged in November 2017.

Pia, who hails from Chile, started her career as a model but is perhaps best known for playing policewoman Katarina Chapman on Home and Away.

She has two children: 12-year-old son Lennox from her marriage to Brad, and 16-year-old son Isaiah from a previous relationship in her teens.
