Piers Morgan teases Susanna Reid about her taste in men

He playfully ribbed her over her love-life on Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, getting her to admit to secret romances.

And Susanna Reid’s love life was once again top of Piers Morgan’s agenda on Tuesday’s edition of the breakfast show , with the bolshy co-host teasing his blushing colleague about her perfect man.

The 52-year-old journalist couldn’t help but quiz his glamorous 47-year-old co-host after the pair had interviewed the hunky Four Oarsman about their upcoming charity sail, with Piers questioning whether Susanna had taken a fancy to them.

A typically brash Piers said: ‘You’re single. You’ve always said to me your ideal man would be about 6ft2 or 6ft3, ex-military possibly, and tattooed.   

‘You’ve got four strapping guys there, bristling with muscle. Probably military connections.’

As Susanna looked flushed, he added: ‘However, I did say to them have you got any tattoos and they said no. You like a rough old tatt don’t you?’

Susanna quipped back: ‘That’s the deal breaker. I like a full sleeve.’

Susanna famously said she would never marry again after splitting from husband and father of her children, Dominic Cotton in 2014.

But she was forced to admit that she has at least been dating during the past two years , after Piers Morgan got it out of her during a playful chat.

Talking on the show on Monday, Susanna who was with Dominic for 15 years, appeared flustered by Piers’ line of questioning.

‘I’ve worked with you for just over two years. And you say, “I haven’t been completely a foreigner to love over the last couple of years.”

‘Wow. So I’m doing the maths here – I come into your life two years ago, you haven’t been “completely a foreigner to love” in that period.’

Susanna replied: ‘I’ve obviously had relationships in the past couple of years but for some reason you interpret that as I’ve secretly been in love with you.’

‘Cupid has struck!’ Piers said with a wry smile on his face.

Mother-of-three Susanna recently said on the show that she will never marry again, despite having a great relationship with her ex. 

She said: ‘I never wanted to be married and don’t want to change now… That’s it.

‘I think I’ll probably at some stage hopefully have another relationship, but not marriage.’
