Piglets cause chaos in a Chinese highway tunnel

Hundreds of piglets managed to escape onto a highway after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed. 

The animals managed to roam free causing chaos in the highway tunnel in Sinan County, China’s Guizhou province on August 17. 

It took police officers an hour to round all of the animals up.

The cause of the crash is unclear however following the incident, the pigs inside the truck managed to escape. 

Traffic police were alerted by other drivers and arrived at the scene to deal with the aftermath. 

In the footage, the piglets can be seen running around and squealing as traffic police try to round them up.

It's thought some 200 pigs were in the truck at the time of the incident

Officers collect them and put them in a pick up truck however some of the pigs give them a bit of trouble. 

It took officers  an hour to round the animals up.

It’s unclear if the driver of the truck sustained any injuries.
