The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, dropped off her son 18-year-old son Bryce at college for the fall semester but not before stocking his pantry with all the essentials.
The famous food blogger, 52, posted a picture of the two in a car at the end of the long ordeal.
‘2 trips 2 hours apart to 2 different Walmart locations plus 2 hours of organizing and 2 iced coffees was all it took to get Bryce’s kitchen all set up and stocked yesterday. (Oh, and a 500 mile drive to Texas and back),’ shared the star.

What an ordeal: The 52-year-old described the process in her caption, writing, ‘2 trips 2 hours apart to 2 different Walmart locations plus 2 hours of organizing and 2 iced coffees was all it took to get Bryce’s kitchen all set up and stocked yesterday. (Oh, and a 500 mile drive to Texas and back.)
‘I guess it’s that important to me for my child to be able to make an egg. I love you, my son!’ the Oklahoma native wrote.
Bryce will play football for the University of North Texas this season, and he even graduated early from high school so that he could attend school starting in January and participate in spring practice with his new team.
On her blog in December, the mother of five lamented his leaving. ‘I can’t believe B-Man is leaving home in such a short time. He was a little boy yesterday. This has snuck up on me and I’m not ready. I mean, I am ready. But I’m not. But I am. But I’m not.’

Bryce is one of the television personality’s five children who she shares with husband, Ladd.
Her other children are 24-year-old Alex, 21-year-old Paige, 18-year-old foster son Jamar and 17-year-old Todd.
The family also celebrated Alex’s wedding to her husband Mauricio in May. The Pioneer Woman shared the experience with fans on a Food Network special.

The pandemic has brought the already close family even closer as well. Regular crew members couldn’t help film the show because of COVID-19, so Drummond enlisted her family’s help.
‘My mom texted us and was like, “Can you guys help me film the show?”‘ Alex said. ‘And we were like, “What do you mean?” We were very confused.’
While originally they thought it was going to be short term, they’ve since shot over 60 episodes and are continuing to film.
