The Pittsburgh Steelers have been known to provide an extra splash of entertainment with their post-touchdown celebrations this season.

And the NFL side’s antics reached new heights on Sunday after two players marked their team’s success with a small game of hide-and-seek.

When Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger connected with JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 31-yard touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, Smith-Schuster and Le’Veon Bell put on the choreographed show much to the amusement of the crowd.

Hilarious footage captures the moment the celebratory players begin their routine as Smith-Schuster covers his eyes and counts to ten.

In the meantime, Le-Veon runs off to find a hiding place, and nestles behind the goal posts comically.

Smith-Schuster then rushes around looking for his teammate before stopping animatedly, spotting his friend and then racing towards the goal posts.

Realizing he’s been ‘found’, Le-Veon sprints off as his fellow footballer chases him, leaving the fans applauding their antics.

The team have become known for their larger-than-life celebrations this year, since the league administrators relaxed the rules on celebrations.

Earlier in the year, Smith-Schuster scored another touchdown and celebrated with a tribute to children’s cartoon Dragon Ball Z.

Since the NFL decided to relax their rules on elaborate celebrations, teams have been steadily upping the ante.

When Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson found himself in space in the touchdown zone, the jubilant player decided to climb into an empty bank of seats in the first row of the Hard Rock Stadium.

The star player than proceeded to put his feet up and enjoy the view while the crowd cheered around him.

While last month, the Steelers again stole the show with a post-touchdown game of ‘dice’, where the players pretended their were at a casino playing Craps.

Another Steelers player Antonio Brown also got in on the action this season, when after scoring a touchdown he spun the ball on the grass and then mimicked the spinning action himself, eventually falling to the floor animatedly.

The football league decided to relax rules on celebrations in May. At the time Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a letter to fans: ‘Players have told us they want more freedom to be able to express themselves and celebrate their athletic achievements.’
