A plane has been forced to make an emergency landing at Sydney Airport after a mayday report was made about a fuel leak mid-flight.

The United Parcel Service (UPS) plane, which had three people onboard, was forced to return to the airport at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

The fuel leak was reported less than two hours after the plane departed Sydney for Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in China at 7.36pm.

More to come.
