Plus-size blogger poses in stunning lingerie campaign

A plus-size blogger has posed in a stunning lingerie campaign to show that people of all sizes should be able to find fun underwear, instead of underwhelming ‘boring beige’ picks.

Gabi Fresh, 30, took part in a photo shoot for London-based lingerie and swimwear brand Playful Promises.

The pictures, unveiled this week, show the LA-based blogger and designer in several outfits, including a black lingerie set complete with stockings and satin pajamas.

‘So often people my size are left with boring beige options, and I’m honored to help change that.

‘Body positivity is a core part of my belief system and brand, and designing lingerie that makes women feel good in their skin is a natural progression for me after doing the same with my swimwear collections.’

The blogger made headlines in 2012 when she shared pictures of herself in a bathing suit under the label ‘fatkini’ and invited women to share their own photos.

Five years later, Gabi, a proud feminist, still advocates for bodies of all sizes to be represented and celebrated.

She has in the past partnered with Swimsuitsforall, the swimsuit brand backed by Ashley Graham, for which she designed five capsule collections.

Gabi has since then worked with a variety of brands, including Lane Bryant, Simply Be, ASOS, Target and Dove.

Working with the blogger was a natural move in favor of inclusive fashion, Playful Promises founder Emma Parker explained, calling the collaboration ‘a natural progression of [the company’s] ethos to make sexy, fashionable lingerie for all body types’.
