A man was arrested wearing a ‘what goes around, comes around’ t-shirt after allegedly slamming into a number of vehicles in a dramatic chase.

The 23-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after he and another man were linked to a string of property offences, dangerous driving and stolen vehicles on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

The men allegedly stole a white Mitsubishi Triton and trailer from Belli Park on Thursday before being involved in a hit and run on the Bruce Highway.

The Triton smashed into a Nissan Pathfinder, containing a family of five, before it allegedly attempted to force the vehicle off the road.

The Pathfinder bravely followed the stolen ute as it continued to speed down the highway before both vehicles pulled over.

The driver of the stolen vehicle allegedly threatened the other male motorist before getting back into the car.

He then rammed into the Pathfinder as the family, including children, were still inside.

The Triton then fled the scene in the damaged car before it was dumped outside a home in Woombye.

Witnesses told police two men were seen allegedly trying to break into properties in the vicinity.

He was arrested at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old man attempted to flee the scene on foot but was found by police shortly after 1pm and arrested.

Both men are currently assisting police with inquiries as investigations continue.
