Police grow concerned for missing 15-year-old schoolgirl who has not been seen for nearly two days after leaving home to ‘see a friend’

  • Holly Andrews, 15, was last seen in Acocks Green Birmingham, on January 24
  • She is described as having blonde hair tied in a pony tail and is 5ft 5ins tall
  • Holly left home at around 3.30pm and said she was going to see a friend 

Police are concerned over the disappearance of a schoolgirl after she left home to ‘see a friend’ on Friday afternoon.

Holly Andrews, 15, has not been seen since she left her home in Acocks Green, Birmingham, to visit a friend at around 3.30pm on January 24.  

Police are now appealing for information and urging anyone who sees her to dial 999 immediately.

The teen, who has her blond hair tied in a ponytail, is said to be around 5ft 5 tall.

West Midlands Police released an image of the girl in a desperate bid to find her safe and well.

A Birmingham Police appeal, posted on Saturday, January 25, read: “MISSING. We really need your help tracing Holly Andrews, 15, who’s gone missing from the Acocks Green area of Birmingham.

‘She left home at around 3.30pm yesterday (Friday) and said she was going to see a friend, but hasn’t been seen since.

‘Holly has blonde hair in a ponytail, and is around 5ft 5ins tall. If you see her, call 999.’
