Police hunting for man and woman over Perth kidnapping

  • Police want to speak to Jesse Cutting and Tamati Kururangi over a kidnapping
  • A third person, a 22-year-old man, has been charged over the incident 
  • A man, 26, was attacked at a house on Nyunda Drive at 8.20am on September 9

Police have charged one man and are on the hunt for a young blonde woman and a man with facial tattoos over a kidnapping.

A 22-year-old Perth man, has been charged after threatening a 26-year-old man staying at a house on Nyunda Drive about 8.20am on September 9.

The trio allegedly demanded to speak to the man before they ransacked his home.

They then took the man to a different property and threatened him with a weapon.

The man was eventually able to escape before running to calling emergency services, police said.

Police are still on the hunt for two kidnappers. They have released images of Jesse Cutting and Tamati Kururangi, who they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

The 22-year-old has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated burglary and aggravated armed robbery.

He is due to appear in at Stirling Magistrate s Court next month.
