Police are ‘increasingly concerned’ for the welfare of a 14-year-old schoolboy who went missing in Birmingham more than a week ago.

Ricardo Farrell vanished in the city on October 15, and he hasn’t been seen since.

West Midlands Police said they are ‘growing increasingly concerned for his welfare’ as they launched an urgent appeal to trace him.

The teenager is described as 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, and was said to be wearing green coloured contact lenses at the time of his disappearance.

In the appeal, police said: ‘We’re appealing for help in tracing teenager Ricardo Farrell who has gone #missing from #Birmingham.

‘The 14-year-old has been missing since 15 October and we’re growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

‘Ricardo is described as 5ft 8ins tall with green coloured contact lenses and is of medium build.’
