Police launch hunt for man who robbed and KIDNAPPED teenage woman at London’s Waterloo station before she escaped from him on the Tube
Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to kidnap a teenage girl in central London on Wednesday afternoon.
British Transport Police released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident which took place at 2.30pm on Wednesday.
Officers believe the man approached the woman on the pretence of asking her for help. He followed her she had ignored him and forced his victim to top up his Oyster card at a ticket machine at Waterloo Station.

The woman was able to escape the man at Westminster Station having been forced onto a Jubilee Line train from Waterloo
The man then forced the woman onto a Jubilee Line tube towards Westminster Station.
The woman was able to escape and alert station staff between 3.45pm and 3.50pm.
The man left the tube station after the woman spoke with staff.
A BTP spokesperson said: ‘Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
‘Anyone who recognises him, or anyone with information, can contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 301 of 01/007/20.’
Witnesses or anyone who recognises the man can also contact charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
