Seven home invasion suspects were cornered by police on a highway in Los Angeles and ordered to splay out like starfish on the pavement before being detained.
All six south-bound lanes of the busy 405 Freeway were shut down during the bizarre arrest on Friday in the Westchester neighborhood.
Aerial footage from ABC7 showed the suspects lying with arms and legs outstretched in the middle of the road.

The suspects had allegedly forced their way into a home in Woodland Hills and demanded valuables at gunpoint at around 2pm Friday.
They were captured about an hour later after police used a cell phone stolen during the robbery to track their location.
None of the suspects have been identified. Police said at least one of them was armed with a handgun.
