Students have been commenting about the incident online, with one man who previously worked at the venue saying the outside fences are ‘ridiculously heavy’.

‘CPR was in progress and we sent three resources, including our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), as well as on officer, and sadly the patient died at the scene.’

The nightclub has declined to comment, citing the ongoing police investigation.
