The elderly man was voting in the District of Wyong where Labor’s David Harris is running for reelection against the Liberal’s Ying Shu Li-Cantwell.
A volunteer told The Daily Telegraph that the man had just walked into the voting centre when he collapsed onto the ground.
‘It must have been a massive heart attack,’ the volunteer said.
‘Very tragic for everyone.’
