Polyamorous ‘throuple’ reveal their plans to MARRY and have children

A polyamorous ‘throuple’ who share a bed and have regular threesomes, have revealed their plans to marry and start a family.

Natalie Fink, of Freiburg, Germany, and first boyfriend Yannick Gwarys, both 22, decided to start dating other people in 2016 – before meeting Michael Flamm, 22.

The trio, who share a bed most nights, are inspired by German artist Max Ernst, who lived in a polyamorous relationship.

Natalie Fink, Yannick Gwarys (centre) and Michael Flamm are in a polyamorous relationship, regularly sharing a bed and taking part in threesomes

Both men identify as heterosexual and claim that they never struggle with feelings of jealousy.

Natalie said: ‘I’ve always known that I had to love and to live in my own way and not how society taught me to.

‘It was not as if I needed another partner but we were excited about sharing our life with a third party.

‘I grew up in a big family and wanted to keep the feeling of community.’

The next step of their relationship is to marry – and have children.

‘We want children – and it is important to me that both men will be accepted as fathers, independent of biological paternity,’ said Natalie.

‘Although we would want to know the biological father because of medical questions.

‘If it will be helpful for our life, two of us will definitely get married legally. The three of us will decide which couple would be the most economical.

‘Above all, marriage is a spiritual promise. I do not need a lawyer for that. If we want to make a life commitment, nobody can stop us from doing it.

‘Who knows, maybe we will invite our families to their first polyamorous wedding in their lifetime.’

Natalie and Yannick met at college and were friends for many years before they fell in love in 2014.

They had another polyamorous relationship but the first run didn’t really work out – because the ‘candidate’ recognised himself as monogamous in the end.

Two years ago, they decided to try polyamory again. The couple were already friends with Michael and they knew that he was also questioning his own view of love and relationships.

‘I was into Michael for a long time but it took me a while to have the courage to talk to him about polyamory,’ said Natalie, a design student.

‘It was clear for Michael that he could be our partner not only our ‘side dude’.

‘We do not really have an anniversary because our love story was more like a process.

‘There were the dates between Michael and I, there was the growing friendship between the men and there were funny afternoons for the three of us.

‘At some point, Yannick and I understood Michael as our partner.’

The trio believe polyamory should be accepted in society – and are sick of explaining their relationship.

Natalie added: ‘It can be exhausting to tell everything about the relationship from the beginning.’
