With his smart blue duffle coat and red hat, he looks all set to tuck into some marmalade sandwiches.

But this isn’t Paddington Bear – it’s Bertie, a Pomeranian dog dressed up to look just like the movie version of Michael Bond’s beloved creation.

Bertie was abandoned at five months old because his breeders deemed him ‘too big to sell’ but he was adopted by New York artist Kathy Grayson.

His fans enjoy regular pictures of him wearing bow ties, sun hats and woolly jumpers.

Bertie also works at his owner’s art gallery, donning a bow tie to charm customers into buying paintings.
