Stephen Nedoroscik has won yet another bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics after finishing on the podium in the men’s pommel horse final.
The 25-year-old, Massachusetts native registered a score of 15.300 on Saturday to claim his second prize of the summer, trailing gold medalist Rhys McClenaghan, of Ireland, and runner-up Nariman Kurbanov, of Kazakhstan.
Briton Max Whitlock, the twice defending Olympic champion on the apparatus, was edged off the medal podium by 0.1 point, finishing in fourth despite besting his qualification score.
Nedoroscik, dubbed as the ‘Pommel Horse Guy,’ went viral last week after helping the US to a third pace medal finish in the team event.
He’s also been likened to Superman’s alter ego, Clark Kent, due to his glasses.
