Popeyes is ripping off the infamous $120,000 duct tape banana installation at the Art Basel Miami festival by creating and selling its own version with its popular chicken sandwich. 

The fast foot joint announced its newest masterpiece ‘The Sandwich’, featuring the chicken meal duct-taped onto a blank white canvas, on display at the San Paul gallery in Miami.

And the modern piece of work could be yours for the whopping price of $120,003.99.

The infamous sandwiches, which debuted in August and have caused a frenzy of long lines and fights in restaurant locations across the nation, typically sell for just $3.99

The installation is described as ‘a mixed media work of art consisting of a toasted brioche bun, two pickles, fried chicken and mayo and duct tape over a canvas.’

Popeyes said there’s yet to be a buyer for the piece, which was first unveiled on Friday, and all proceeds will go to the Popeyes Foundation.

‘Chief Dugan is a great contemporary artist. I can see his work at Guggenheim very soon,’ one Facebook user joked. 

‘$100 right here for the donut and a meet and greet with one of the K9 doggies….. seriously,’ another added. 

‘Hey, if a banana can fetch $120,000…. why not,’ another echoed.
