Porsha Williams had the lucky opportunity to say ‘I do’ to the love of her life once again during a second and lavish wedding ceremony held in Atlanta.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, 41, walked down the aisle on Saturday for a second time in a traditional church ceremony, after initially tying the knot on Friday catering towards Nigerian law and customs, reported People.
The two lovebirds became engaged last year in May 2021 following just a month of dating and after the businessman’s divorce from Porsha’s Real Housewives co-star, Falynn Guobadia, was finalized.

The TV personality got married inside a Methodist church wearing a stunning, Frida strapless gown that flowed down in a full, hooped skirt.
The eye-catching dress was comprised of a lace overlay and a veil that effortlessly bellowed out behind her with glittering details on the sheer fabric.
Her long locks fell down past her shoulders in elegant curls, and a large, shimmering tiara was placed on top of her head.

For an additional flashy detail, Porsha added dangly, rhinestone earrings that sparkled in the lights, adding a luxurious touch to her breathtaking look for the ceremony.
A whopping 350 guests were in attendance to witness the nuptials that took place As Porsha made her way down the aisle, the tune, For Every Mountain, was sung by Tasha Cobbs Leonard along with a gospel choir and a 40-piece orchestra.
Before the ceremony took place, the reality star and author opened up to People about what she had envisioned for the wedding. ‘I definitely want the Lord to be in the place. I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife.’
‘I’m from the south, so I love being in church. I’ve never been married in a church, and Simon’s never been married in a church, so it’s going to be a new experience for both of us,’ she gushed to the publication.

Porsha’s three-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her ex-fiance, Dennis McKinley, was the flower girl, while Simon’s oldest son of five children from a previous relationship, walked him down the aisle.
The fairytale-inspired reception ball was held in an ornate room at the St. Regis Hotel, where guests were entertained from the R&B group known as Dru Hill.
On Friday, the happy couple held a previous ceremony that followed traditional Nigerian law and customs. Porsha wore a strapless, trumpet-styled wedding dress made of a vibrant red fabric. The piece was designed by African designer, LaKimmy, reported People.
The Real Housewives alum notably had accidentally given a sneak peak of her red wedding dress during an Instagram Live session earlier this month before the ceremony.

The wedding also took place in the city of Atlanta at the Four Seasons Hotel with around 250 guests in attendance to witness the special moment.
Over the course of the two ceremonies, the talented star had a grand total of seven outfit changes, from the wedding gowns to multiple reception dresses.
When talking about how she felt before officially saying, ‘I do,’ to Simon, Porsha revealed to People that she was simply, ‘so ready. I’m not even nervous.’
‘I mean, I know I’m marrying the love of my life, and it’s just going to solidify our relationship and our family bond. I’m calm and excited,’ she added to the publication.

On Instagram earlier Friday, the star had shared professional wedding photos from the Nigerian ceremony and wrote to her followers, ‘Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and well wishes ! We love you for riding with us in this journey called life! The best is yet to come!!’
Porsha had expressed how excited she was to be able to finally call Simon her ‘husband,’ adding, ‘It’s our last marriage, okay? We belong together. That is it. It’s a blessing to be able to find your person.’
She also revealed to People that her husband has kept all the details of their honeymoon hidden from her. ‘All he told me is that we’re going to be gone for about 10 days and that it’s somewhere hot.’

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, who had made an appearance on the hit reality show from 2012 until 2021, became engaged to Simon in May 2021 after dating for only one month.
The two had started dating right after his divorced was finalized from Real Housewives star, Falynn Guobadia. When the two announced their engagement, Porsha had shared a loving post on Instagram, writing to her fans and followers that ‘we are crazy in love.’
She also briefly mentioned Simon’s ex-wife, typing, ‘Falynn and I are not friends and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.’
