One lucky Australian could be the country’s newest multimillionaire after Powerball’s mammoth draw on Thursday night.
The winning numbers for the $80million jackpot were 33, 2, 32, 31, 28, 21, 26 and the Powerball was 12.
The $80million draw is only the seventh time in the Powerball 24-year history that a jackpot of this size has been up for grabs.

No one has taken home the division one prize during the past five draws.
There have been 19 Powerball division two winning entries that were just one number off winning the life-changing division one prize.
An expected one-in-four adults will have an entry in the massive Powerball draw.
‘We’re standing by ready to crown our sixth Powerball division one winner of 2020,’ The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.
‘So far in 2020, five Powerball division one winners across Australia have won more than $189.9 million in prize money.
‘Of these Powerball division one wins, three have landed in Queensland, with one each in New South Wales and Victoria.
‘Who knows where our next Powerball division one win will land. Will the winning light continue to shine on the Sunshine State or will it go elsewhere?’
The chance of scoring a division one prize is one in 134,490,400 and one in 44 to win anything in the draw.
