PR agents to exclude Bachelor mean girls from events

They’ve already been kicked out of the Bachelor mansion for their mean girl antics.

And on Monday, it was reported that this year’s batch of reality stars will be banned from Sydney VIP events after their ‘mean’ and ‘boring’ personas.

Where many contestants go on to forge solid careers as socialites, Confidential reported that one PR agent said they would in no way be inviting some of this season’s contestants to their events.

Not impressed: On Monday, it was reported that this year’s batch of reality stars will be banned from Sydney VIP events after their ‘mean’ and ‘boring’ personas

‘People think that getting on a reality show is a ticket to being a socialite, but that isn’t the case,’ revealed their source.

‘Maybe the winner and a couple of others might get a few invites, but they definitely won’t be at the top of the guest list for the big events around town.’

‘They started out mean and now they are just boring. Who wants that at a party?’ continued the insider.

Off the guest list: 'Maybe the winner and a couple of others might get a few invites, but they definitely won't be at the top of the guest list for the big events around town'

And a change in the contestants contracts might be one of the reasons for publicist’s disappointments.

In previous seasons, producers have banned contestants from using social media until they’ve been eliminated on the show.

This year however has seen Australia’s newest batch of reality stars frequently post throughout the series, showing more of their personalities out of the house.

Don't make the cut: 'They started out mean and now they are just boring. Who wants that at a party?'

Earlier in the week, Network Ten came under fire after it was reported Matty J wears a earpiece at cocktail parties so producers can tell him what to say.

‘The girls would sit down and Matty would sit on the non-camera side. That’s how he made sure the earpiece wasn’t seen on camera,’ revealed an insider exclusively to Daily Mail Australia.

‘His lines are completely staged. During the cocktail party, he would ask questions that were clearly based on things the girls had said during a private interview with producers.’
