Pregnant Erin Molan rushed to hospital after collapsing

Erin Molan has been rushed to hospital after collapsing at the Channel Nine studios.

The Footy Show host, who is four months pregnant with her first child, was taken to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital on Friday after fainting and hitting her head, The Sunday Telegraph reported.

Tests at the hospital revealed the Channel Nine star had a low blood sugar count when she fainted at work.

Scans by doctors revealed her unborn baby was fine with Erin’s fiance Sean Oligvy staying by her bedside in hospital, the publication reported.  

Earlier that day Erin had flown from Canberra to Sydney after watching her father Jim Molan be inducted into the senate.   

The Daily Telegraph claimed Erin may have skipped breakfast in order to make her flight from Canberra. 

The popular Channel Nine personality is due to start her role hosting The Footy Show next month.

In addition Erin presents the 6pm sports news for Nine’s Sydney bulletin and hosts Saturday afternoon sports show on 2GB. 

Nine’s director of sport Tom Malone said Erin’s pregnancy director of sport Tom Malone said Erin’s ‘health and the baby is our No. 1 priority’.

‘Whatever steps need to be taken, if it means slowing down, we’ll ensure that happens. We’ll keep an eye on it,’ he told News Corp.
