The pregnant girlfriend of St George NRL player Jack de Belin has emerged from the couple’s house, less than 24 hours after her partner was charged with gang rape.

Alyce Taylor, who is more than halfway through her first pregnancy, was seen in a white Aje shirt and fitted black skirt, her blonde hair tucked under a Yankees cap, which was later used to cover her face.

The radiographer was taken from the couple’s home in Wollongong, and was escorted away by a friend.

Ms Taylor was seen holding a water bottle, lip balm, and her phone, as well as a document that appeared to be a bill.

She got into her friend’s car in silence, before the pair took off together.

There was no sign of her footballer partner, who is soon to be a first time father.

Police allege De Belin, Ms Taylor’s partner of more than five years, assaulted a 19-year-old woman inside a Wollongong apartment in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The woman told police she had left a nightclub on Crown Street in the southern city, with a group of people, and shared a pedicab with De Belin and another man, who plays football in a lower grade.

De Belin and Ms Taylor have been together for more than five years, and are believed to have moved in together at the end of 2013

De Belin, who is due to become a first-time father with Ms Taylor next year, allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old woman, along with another man, in a Wollongong apartment early on Sunday morning

She claimed she believed the trio were headed to another venue, but the ride ended at an apartment complex.

There, both men allegedly claimed they needed to get changed, and the woman told police she needed to use the bathroom, so followed them inside.

When she came back out of the room, about 1.30am, she alleges both men were naked and they sexually assaulted her.

After the alleged assault, the woman says she told a friend and went to hospital for treatment.

The 27-year-old man handed himself into Wollongong Police Station, about 3.40pm on Thursday and has been charged with one count of sexual assault in company.

He has received bail and will next appear in Wollongong Local Court on February 12.
