Pregnant Sam Frost reveals she has picked a name for her unborn child

Former Home and Away star Sam Frost has chosen a name for her unborn child.

The 33-year-old, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Jordie Hansen, shared details about her pregnancy on The Morning Show on Tuesday.

She told hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies she decided on the perfect name for her baby boy after asking her niece for some advice.

‘I asked my niece, Olive. I said to her, “What names do you like?”‘ she explained. 

‘So she’s chosen the name. And I actually think we’re gonna go with it.’

The former Bachelor and Bachelorette star would not disclose the name she’d picked but seemed very happy with her decision.

‘I’m not telling anyone obviously. Hopefully [Olive] can be quiet,’ she said. ‘But yeah, she said the name and I was like, “Gee, that’s a good name.”‘

Sam also opened up about her health during her pregnancy, revealing she had thrown up on the flight from the Sunshine Coast to Sydney to record the interview.

‘I had a vomit bag, throwing up everywhere!’ she said.

‘You know, you’d be surprised people are quite sympathetic to pregnant people throwing up on a plane. So apart from that, it’s been great.’

Sam and Jordie, 26, who have been dating for less than a year, surprised fans in September by announcing they were expecting a child.

They posted a photo on Instagram of themselves holding up a sonogram photo.

‘There is a tiny human coming soon… everyone act surprised when he inevitably inherits his parents’ odd sense of humour,’ Sam wrote in the caption.

She recently said she was ‘enjoying having boobs for the first time in my life’, but was missing ‘sashimi and red wine’ during her pregnancy.

The soap star posted a photo on Instagram last Wednesday of herself exploring Mothar Mountain Rock Pools on the Sunshine Coast clad in a red bikini and shorts.

She pulled the shorts up to her waist to hide her bump and tied her hair into a low bun as she scrambled across the rocks.

‘Missing sashimi and red wine. Enjoying having boobs for the first time in my life,’ she joked in the caption.

The Hell’s Kitchen alum previously said her pregnancy symptoms began at the six-week mark and her ‘mental health quickly deteriorated’ from there.

‘I became extremely unwell, throwing up constantly, with extreme exhaustion,’ Sam revealed, adding that she had been bedridden for two months.

Sam and Jordie became engaged in July after just five months of dating.

Sam recently said she was ‘enjoying having boobs for the first time in my life’, but was missing ‘sashimi and red wine’ during her pregnancy
