Pregnant Skye Wheatley shares baby update at her 20-week ultrasound

The former Big Brother star experienced a ‘bit of a scare’ when a sonographer at her initial pregnancy scan suggested her unborn child could have Down syndrome.

And mother-to-be Skye Wheatley updated fans of a recent worry during her 20-week scan within Wednesday’s YouTube vlog upload.

The social media influencer, 24, claimed she was nervous and stressed before her ultrasound, as she couldn’t ‘feel much’ movement from her baby.

‘We were really nervous before the scan. I couldn’t feel much’: Pregnant Skye Wheatley shares baby update at her 20-week ultrasound after prior nasal bone scare

Skye, who is due to give birth on December 20, expresses a sigh of relief in the clip as the medical practitioner explains her anterior placenta ‘cushions the affect’ meant she wouldn’t feel the baby as much.

‘Oh, that’s why! I was so stressed that I couldn’t feel much,’ Skye said, as she doted over the baby on the screens and listened to its heartbeat.

‘We are honestly so fricken excited. We were really nervous before the scan, because of that nasal bone scare, but baby is absolutely perfect!’ the blonde star later beamed in the comfort of her home.

‘But it was there when we went back for our 13-week scan, so everything is good and the baby is healthy,’ she later confirmed.

The couple, who are rumoured to have secretly wed, already know the gender of the baby and have given it a name.
