She announced she was expecting a baby girl with fiancé Joe Swash shortly after moving into her £1.2million Essex home.

And an excited Stacey Solomon shared an insight into preparations for her daughter’s nursery on Instagram on Saturday, transforming the tired room into a pink paradise.

The Loose Women star, who is already mum to her three sons, went all for what will be her little girls’ room, creating a decadent flower wall and painting the wardrobe a pastel pink.

Excited: Stacey Solomon showed off the impressive flower wall she created in the bedroom for her unborn daughter – and showcased her impressive baby bump – in a series of new posts on her Instagram stories on Saturday

Stacey showcased the entire journey as she transformed one of the walls in her unborn daughter’s bedroom into a stunning display of flowers.

Initially, she teased fans by uploading a short video of the flower panels she was using lying on the floor ahead of the DIY project. She wrote: ‘Ok so I’m starting last wall… I just couldn’t resist.

‘I bought these flower panels from a little business called @thecheshiregiftcompany. I used them in the conservatory in the old house and they were amazing and such beautiful quality so I thought I’d use the same again.’

Stacey then recorded a video of herself talking into the camera, as she discussed the end result of her handiwork.

She said: ‘I don’t like to blow my own trumpet but… I’ve finished the wall. And it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen!’

Continuing, Stacey wrote: ‘Obviously I realise our baby girl isn’t going to care at all what this looks like.

‘Making a nursery is like making your dream bedroom if you didn’t have to share with your partner.

‘I might see if Joe will help me roll it up tomorrow.’

She even took the time to respond to questions from fans asking how she planned on keeping the decorative flowers clean.

Stacey wrote: ‘Honestly I would dust and clean a babies bedroom more than normal anyway and I’ll just have to include this wall in my dusting.

‘I’ll either use a damp cloth or a duster regularly depending on whether it collects lots of dust or not. But genuinely I didn’t have a massive problem with my last ones, they didn’t get thick layers of dust on them or anything.

‘Just a regular wipe now and again kept them so nice and clean.’

She wrote: ‘Honestly it’s not for everyone. But this to me is fejka heaven and just everything.

‘Obviously as she gets older and starts crawling I’ll make sure she doesn’t eat it, but for now and for quite some time before we are there I just love it so so much.

‘Baby girl I can’t wait to see you in this mirror. P.S. I’m going to trim the bottom edge too!’

After her wall transformation was complete, Stacey also shared another baby bump update – a regular feature on her Instagram account.

It comes after Stacey was giving further insights into the property on Tuesday, as she gave fans a treat when she documented her eldest sons’, Zachary, 12 and Leighton, nine, new rooms.

Taking to Instagram, Stacey, who is also mum to Rex, two, revealed that she has never been ‘so excited’ for her boys to get their own rooms, despite them loving sharing.

The Loose Women panelist, who is expecting a little girl with fiancé Joe Swash, cuddled up to Zachary before filming the rooms for her followers as she revealed the space started as one big room which her dad separated.

Keepsake: The sweetest feature had to be the 'Never Lego' picture on his desk, which encompassed Rex, Joe, Joe's son Harry from a previous relationship, Zach and Leighton as Lego figures

She said: ‘Oh I have never been so excited for the boys. Especially Zachy. 13 years and he has finally got his own room even though they still would love sharing. When we first moved here they wanted to share. I’m just so excited for them’.

Zachary added that he was very happy with his ‘lovely’ new bedroom.

Stacey began the tour in Leighton’s new room, noting: ‘Sorry for the ridiculously long montage the boys wanted everything in it’. The nine-year-old was treated to a beautiful built-in wardrobe which had plenty room for a selection of trainers – and his school uniform.

The mother-of-three also showcased her second son’s baby blue walls, which had been decorated with a selection of neon lights in the shape of a lightning bolt, cloud and alien.

On the desk, Leighton had perfectly colour-coordinated his pens into his mum’s old snack station and a personalised workbook was also on show.

Snapping Leighton on his bunk-bed, which would be perfect for him and his brother to have sleepovers, Stacey got sentimental.

She said: ‘I love you boys to the moon and back again. I hope you make the best memories in here… Ill miss you because I’m pretty sure I won’t see you all summer’.

Zachary also adopted a blue theme in his room, as the wall by his computer and television was also on display in his mum’s video tour.

He took a break from a game to pose in his desk chair.

‘So this is how the room started. It’s taken months but it was so so worth it.

‘It was just one big room before and my dad put a stud wall in the middle for them because he did the same for me and my sister when we were teenagers,’ Stacey recalled.

Like his younger brother, the 13-year-old couldn’t wipe the smile off his face as he sprawled across his brand new bed.
