Pregnant Tiffiny Hall left in tears over stranger’s rude comments about her weight

Celebrity trainer Tiffiny Hall has recalled how she was recently left in tears after a number of strangers made rude comments about her weight.

The fitness queen, 37, spoke about the incidents on 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin breakfast show on Wednesday alongside her radio host husband Ed Kavalee.

Tiffiny, who is set to give birth in seven weeks, said two men recently told her she looked ‘massive’ as the couple were walking down the street.

She then said another man had told her she ‘must be expecting a girl as she’s stolen your looks’ while the pair dined in a café.

‘People just think that when you’re pregnant, they get to say whatever they want to you,’ she said. ‘It’s hurting my feelings and getting a bit too much.

‘Everyone’s just like, “Oh my God, you must be about to pop, you’re massive, you’re enormous, you must have three in there.”‘

Ed, 42, chimed in: ‘We have had two men in public say – while I’m standing there – to my wife, “You’re massive. You’re massive.”

‘A man in a café said to my wife, “You must be having a girl as she’s stolen your looks. My wife, she had three girls and all she had is a tiny basketball. But you’re massive.”‘

Tiffiny said she was shocked by the stranger’s words, and scolded her husband for not saying anything in response.

‘Ed didn’t do any Will Smith action at all!’ she said of the café incident.

‘You didn’t do anything, Ed! I was dying, I actually cried after that. I got in the car and I had a cry.’

Tiffiny revealed that she and Ed, who she married in 2014, were expecting their second child in December.

‘A dream come true. Baby Kavalee coming in 2022,’ she wrote.

The TV host and her comedian husband already have a son, Arnold, four.

Tiffiny has been open about her health issues, revealing that she has been diagnosed with two genetic blood pressure conditions known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME and POTS.

The trainer revealed last year she had been admitted to hospital ‘multiple times’ as she battled the debilitating illness.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis) is a disease characterised by extreme exhaustion, sleep abnormalities and, in some cases, pain.

POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) is an illness that affects the flow of blood to the top of the body, with symptoms including lightheadedness, fainting and rapid heartbeat.

This has seen her go from training most days of the week to just 10 minutes of training per day, which has been a huge change for the fitness buff.

Last April she wrote on Instagram: ‘For some time now I’ve been battling a little with my health. A lot actually.’

Tiffiny admitted she’s struggled to accept her condition, and has ‘felt like she’s hit rock bottom at times’.
