Pregnant woman crashes through the wall of McDonald’s while trying to order drive-thru

A pregnant 24-year-old woman crashed her car through a McDonalds drive-thru in Sydney’s west on Sunday night. 

The Honda Accord sedan crashed into the wall of the fast food restaurant in Bonnyrigg Heights 37km west of Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Elizabeth Drive and Smithfield Road at about 10pm.

The woman was taken to Fairfield Hospital as a precaution due to being pregnant.

She was breath tested at the scene and returned a negative result. 

A male passenger was also in the car and was not injured.

South West Metropolitan Highway Patrol attended with the assistance of Fairfield City Police Area Command and commenced investigations.     

Fire & Rescue NSW attended and assessed the restaurant for structural damage and inquiries continue.
