Premier League international football star arrested for two ‘rapes’ is quizzed for ‘hours’ under caution by police after a third woman came forward
- The player has previously been accused of rapes from June 2022 and April 2021
- A third alleged victim has reported being sexually assaulted in Hertfordshire in February last year
A Premier League footballer who travelled with his international side to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is being questioned after a woman spoke out against him in relation to a sex attack.
The player in question has previously been accused of raping two women from June 2022 as well as April in 2021.
But now a third alleged victim has reported being sexually assaulted in Hertfordshire in February last year.
According to the Sun, the player is under caution at a police station and has spent hours being quizzed over the latest allegation.
The player was previously held last July after police visited his home in north London.

In the meantime he has not been suspended by his club pending the investigation and remains part of the first team. Neither the player nor the club can be named for legal reasons.
The report states that the June allegation saw the victim, who is in her 20s, claim she was raped during a break in the Mediterranean.
She had fled a five-star resort where she had been staying to return home and has since spoken to UK police over her experience, reportedly showing bruising on her body following the alleged attack.
Following his initial arrest, the player was then re-arrested on suspicion of two more allegations in April and June 2021 although the latter was dropped by police.
Now he will answer police bail in July following an extension having previously been due to answer this month.
