Meghan Markle has quit her acting career to focus on official duties with Harry, but it looks as if there’s another royal acting star on the rise.
Prince Achileas of Greece has landed his first acting role, playing a small part in the US soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful alongside former Neighbours star Ashleigh Brewer.
His mother Marie-Chantal and father Pavlos, the crown prince and princess of Greece both proudly shared the news on social media, by posting a snap of the teenager with Ashleigh and fellow co-star Rena Sofer.
The royal played intern Simon in the episode who pretends to propose to Ashleigh’s character Ivy with a ring designed by Quinn – played by Rena.
It’s not clear whether the prince will have an ongoing role in the long-running series, which first hit screens in 1987, but fans certainly seemed impressed, describing the royal as ‘cute’ and ‘so handsome’.

The youngster has already amassed 26,000 followers on Instagram, despite living his life largely out of the limelight
Achileas has an Instagram following of 26,000 where he likes to share moody black and white snaps showing him hanging out with friends and shooting in the British countryside with his family.
And he’s certainly amassed a legion of adoring female fans commenting on his pictures with a particular appreciation for his chiselled jaw in one photo.
‘All girls here need to back off Achi is mine. Don’t look at his jawline, he’s my boyfriend,’ one warned the others.
He’s also been flooded with requests from fans who want him to take them to prom and homecoming.

However it’s likely that they will be left disappointed as it seems the young royal is off the market.
He recently shared a snap of himself enjoying dinner with a blonde companion, simply captioned: ‘girlfriend’.
Prince Achileas-Andreas is the third of Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos’ five children and was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children’s education.

The youngster has largely grown up out of the limelight, and is believed to be still studying.
But if he does decide to pursue a career in showbiz, he won’t be the only one in the family.
His aunt Princess Theodora has played secretary Alison Montgomery in The Bold and the Beautiful since 2011.
And his older sister Maria-Olympia, who is studying photography in New York, is also pursuing a career as a model and has posed for the likes of Tatler, Teen Vogue and W.
