But the cupcake which particulary took William’s fancy showed a picture of him as a boy at Buckmore Park Playscape in 1992, aged 10.

Meanwhile a comparison picture of Princess Charlotte at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, aged three, shows the little girl has inherited William’s eyes, nose and lips – as well as brown locks, and quickly did the rounds on Twitter.

And the comparison of the two pictures quickly went viral among fans on Twitter, who remarked on the similarities between William and Charlotte.

One fan wrote: ‘Amazing. William favors his mum maybe Charlotte will favor her grandma as she grows’.

Another added: ‘ I got in an argument with somebody else on another page that they were saying that Princess Charlotte looks like the queen and no disrespect to her your highness but I said she looks just like her dad and her grandma Princess Diana I said it from the beginning pretty cool.

Elsewhere one tweeted: That discussion of who Charlotte takes after is now officially closed. She’s a Spencer like her daddy!’.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were visiting the Khidmat Centre in Bradford to hear about the activities and workshops offered at the centre and the organisations that they support.

Following the visit, baker Siama took to Instagram to express her delight at the meeting and reveal she packed the cakes for them to take back home.

Sharing a picture of the cupcakes, she wrote: ‘Will never forget their reactions I loved every second and was a honour to meet them.

‘Kate shook my hand twice the top tier and all framed cupcakes were packed for them to take.

‘What a honour thank you to everyone for their love & support I cannot explain how I feel at the moment.. #dukeandduchessofcambridge’.
