Royal enthusiasts have gone wild for an unearthed clip which shows Princess Diana telling a ‘sulky’ Prince William, then aged four, that ‘Harry will have all the fun’ as she tempts him to come out of his hiding place.
In the old footage, shared widely on TikTok recently, the late Princess of Wales is seen playing with her children in the gardens of Highgrove House, Prince Charles’ home in Gloucester in 1986.
But when a young Prince William refuses to come inside after going on the swings with his younger brother, and hides behind some greenery, Diana is quick to tease: ‘Alright! Harry will have all the fun then.’
Holding Harry, then aged two, in her arms, the royal mother walks away from little William, adding ‘No, it’s alright’ as he starts to protest ‘No!’.
Eventually the family are all seen walking towards their home – and one fan commenting on the hilarious moment said: ‘Normal mum with normal kids. Gosh I miss her.’

A third added: ‘Oh that was great to hear her voice, she was so beautiful and such a heart she had.’

In the video a narrator explains that the young princes are being looked after by their nanny for the rest of the afternoon while Diana gets ready for a helicopter trip over Highgrove.
