Princess Anne struggled to keep a straight face as she met topless models at a fashion show yesterday.
The Princess Royal, 69, smiled broadly as she was introduced to the men and women, whose chests were clad only in bejewelled chains, at a London Fashion Week showcase.
Anne was on hand to present the Queen Elizabeth Award for British Design to Rosh Mahtani for her Alighieri jewellery line, which is committed to sustainability and ethical practices.

Princess Anne was also introduced to British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex who worked with the royal on her Forces For Change edition

She was also introduced to British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex who collaborated with the royal on her Forces For Change edition of the fashion bible.
It marked the royal’s first outing to London Fashion Week and comes two years after her mother the Queen made her debut at the event to present the same award to fashion designer Richard Quinn.

Princess Anne, President of UK Fashion and Textile Association shunned the fashion week trend of showcasing new season designs and instead stayed true to her thrifty nature with a favourite green suit for yesterday’s outing.
The matching blazer and skirt, worn over a printed emerald silk blouse, was accessorised with two eye-catching brooches and a pearl earring-and-necklace set.
Anne has worn the outfit on a number of previous occasions, including for a meeting with King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan last year.

While the princess was more experimental with style as a young woman, in recent years she has become known for her thrifty approach to fashion and is often seen re-wearing favourite pieces from her wardrobe.
