Princess Eugenie has shared a series of positive tweets on Instagram – including a post by the Good News Movement account championed by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday evening, the royal, 29, shared four posts in a bid to spread some light amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In one of the photos, a man from Medellin, Colombia, can be seen peering into a car window holding a bag of food.

He then surprises the street vendor selling coconut candy by telling him he will pay $100 (£86) instead of $1 (87p) for his treat since he knows the street vendor isn’t selling a lot due to coronavirus precautions.

Another snap shared by the royal is a screenshot from a video originally posted to the Good News Movement Instagram account.

The caption reads: ‘On Friday at 8:45 am, 83 radio stations in 31 different countries played the same song simultaneously “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on the radio.

‘The doctors and nurses in The Netherlands heard it and danced with Ambulance drivers through a glass. This effort is thanks to Dutch DJ 3FM Sander Hoogendoorn to show solidarity across borders.’

It comes just hours after Princess Eugenie posted a sweet tribute to Sarah Ferguson, saying she wants to ‘celebrate Mumma’ on Mother’s Day – while thanking people for ‘staying away’ from elderly relatives
