Princess Mary, 45, shows off her figure at Palm Beach

Princess Mary has been spending the festive season in Australia with her husband Prince Frederik and their four young children.

And it appears the Tasmanian-born Royal is relishing every minute of time back in her native country.

Last week, the 45-year-old was seen beaming as she took to the water at Sydney’s Palm Beach, showing off her incredibly fit physique in a stylish blue swimsuit.

Home is where the heart is! Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark looked completely in her element as she enjoyed a swim in the surf at Sydney’s Palm Beach last week

Appearing completely in her element, Mary looked happy and carefree as she made her way into the sea.

Knowing well about the dangers of the harsh Australian sun, the Danish royal donned a sensible black rash shirt as she splashed around in the shallows with her husband and children.

However, the stunning brunette later threw caution to the wind, taking off the garment to reveal a stylish swimsuit.

The seaside outing was the second time in as many days that Mary and her family had taken to the water at Palm Beach.

The previous day, the Royal Family enjoyed a swim at the very same spot, with Mary wearing a demure black one-piece.

The family-of-six appeared without pretension, enjoying their day out on the sand blending in effortlessly with other beach-goers.

Mary, Frederik and their four children- Christian, 12, Isabella, 10, and twins Vincent and Josephine, 6- departed Sydney days before Christmas, bound for Mary’s home state of Tasmania.

It’s believed the family spent Christmas Day in Hobart, the city where the Princess was raised as the youngest of four children.
