Priyanka’s parents, Ashok and Madhu Chopra, are both physicians in the Indian Army. They are considered by many to be the most powerful family in the Hindi movie industry.
The actress traveled to America at 12 years old for school. She and her family lived in Iowa, New York, Indianapolis, and Boston during middle school and high school.
When Priyanka reached high school, she was tormented by a bully because of her Indian heritage and she decided to move back to India by way of escape.

The couple’s next pre-wedding ceremonies are expected to begin later on Thursday, according to India’s NDTV.
Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort is reported to be the venue for the ceremonies and the wedding will be in the Umaid Bhawan Palace.

That is followed by the sangeet, in which the couples’ families are introduced. A party in its own right, there is usually a meal, dancing, and performances, and every wedding guest is invited.
Finally, there is the main ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception.
