  • The graceful gaggle were spotted at Ricjkamsworth Aquadrome in Watford
  • In perfect formation, they soaked up the sun’s rays while gliding across water

Two proud Canada Geese parents were spotted taking more than 50 chicks for a swim in the spring sunshine.

The gaggle were seen at Ricjkamsworth Aquadrome, Watford, Hertfordshire, in perfect formation.

Soaking up the sun’s rays, the geese kept their beaks out of everyone’s business as they gracefully moved across the water’s surface.

And they definitely got a quacking view of the idyllic setting as locals sailed around on boats.

The family may have been on their way to lunch, as Canada Geese will often eat for 12 hours or more a day in spring to consume a sufficient amount of nutrients.

And the goslings won’t have had any problem squabbling with their parents, as it is believed that baby geese start communicating while they are still inside the egg.

They can make a call if they’re happy or in distress so hopefully no one got their feathers in a ruffle.
