Qantas says international flights in October as it loses $1billion

Qantas plans for international flights to return by the end of October – just as Australia’s vaccination program ends – as it loses $1BILLION from massive coronavirus hit 

Qantas predicts international flights will return and Australia’s borders will open by the end of October.

Resuming international flights can’t come soon enough for the Flying Kangaroo as it lost just over a billion dollars in six months.

The huge loss was thanks to a $6.9 billion coronavirus-related loss on its half year results – but this was 75 per cent lower than the previous six months.
