Quaden Bayles will work with a life coach to help him deal with cruel bullies. 

The nine-year-old with dwarfism shot to fame after his distressed mum shared a video of crying and saying he wanted to kill himself after being the target of nasty playground taunts. 

Since then his story has garnered a huge amount of attention from well-wishers, including ‘resilience educator’ Brook Gibbs.

Mr Gibbs approached Quaden and offered him help. 

Sharing a picture of himself talking to Quaden Mr Gibbs said: ‘ I have a new buddy named Quaden. The world was introduced to him in an emotional state of suicidal despair. You won’t see that side of him again.

‘I’m honored to be his resilience coach. He’s learning two core skills during our sessions: How to be unfazed by the mean words/actions of others and how to be kind to everyone, even the jerks in his life.’ 

Mr Gibbs said with Quaden’s mother Yarraka’s support, the pair will be able to push him to ‘do great things and make the world a better place’. 

It comes after Quaden and his family announced they will donate all the money raised for his Disneyland trip to charity. 

They pledged to donate the $700,000 raised to charity. Six charities will each receive approximately $66,000 USD.

The charities receiving the money include, Born This Way Foundation, STOMP Out Bullying, Dolly’s Dream, Dwarfism Awareness Australia, Gallang Place and the Balunu Foundation.

The remaining funds will go to Quaden to cover ‘direct medical help, education, accommodation costs, food to feed the family’ and donations to charities of his choice.

Quaden became a global sensation, after his mother Yarraka shared the distressing footage of him earlier this month.

The schoolboy, who has achondroplasia – the most common type of dwarfism – told his mother: ‘Give me a rope, I want to kill myself.’

In the video, which has been viewed more than three million times, Quaden also said: ‘I just want to stab myself in the heart… I want someone to kill me.’

Quaden also scratched at his neck and said: ‘I want to die… I want to scratch myself.’

The confronting prompted celebrities across the globe to publicly defend the schoolboy, including actor Hugh Jackman, rugby league legend Johnathan Thurston, rapper Cardi B and broadcaster Piers Morgan.
