A Jetstar flight from Bali has been boarded by quarantine officers after arrival at Sydney Airport.

The plane was stopped on the tarmac early on Wednesday morning after passengers were struck down with fever and vomiting.

Weary travellers were then permitted to leave the aircraft after the sick passengers were cleared for entry.

‘Waiting for quarantine to board coz [sic] everyone is sick on the plane … I’m no exception,’ the former Miss Bondi contestant wrote on Instagram.

Another passenger could be heard coughing loudly in the background of the video Ms Rachael posted from inside the aircraft.

A Jetstar spokesperson confirmed quarantine officers boarded flight JQ38 after it landed just before 6.30am.

The arrival time was not affected, and passengers were not delayed, Jetstar told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Two passengers showed symptoms of fever and vomiting but both were cleared,’ the spokesperson said. 

‘The plane was not late or delayed, and all passengers were allowed to enter the airport.’ 

Daily Mail Australia contacted Sydney Airport for comment.
