Queen Letizia of Spain is the picture of elegance in printed Carolina Herrera dress as she and King Felipe host the President and First Lady of Guatemala

Queen Letizia of Spain was the picture of elegance as she attended a luncheon at the Royal Palace of Madrid today.

Letizia, 51, opted to wear her Carolina Herrera oleander print dress for the fifth time since debuting it in March 2019.

Created in rich hues of emerald, navy and red, the custom design featured a fit-and-flare silhouette and elegant midi length.

The royal mother-of-two elevated her look with navy court shoes and delicate jewellery, while her sleek raven locks were straightened to perfection.

Queen Letizia and her husband King Felipe VI, 56, held the luncheon in honour of Guatemalan president Bernardo Arévalo, 65, and First Lady Lucrecia Peinado, 62, who are on an official visit in Spain.

Letizia is a loyal follower of Carolina Herrera, having showcased the Venezuelan fashion designer on a number of occasions.

She first wore the oleander print dress in March 2019, repeating the outfit in April and October the same year – donning it for a fourth time in October 2020.

The custom-made design incorporates a classic fit-and-flare silhouette, adorned with an opulent floral print in rich hues of emerald, navy and red.

The shiny sateen fabric is cut with a demure round neck, three-quarter length sleeves and midi length.

The mother-of-two added navy court shoes and delicate jewellery, while her sleek raven locks were straightened to perfection.

She opted for her signature make-up look, incorporating a smoky eye, bronzed cheekbones and nude lip.

Felipe, on the other hand, selected a smart navy suit, teamed with a crisp white shirt and purple polka dot tie.
