Queen Letizia wows in £95 ASOS dress as she joins husband King Felipe in Madrid

Queen Letizia of Spain wowed in a £95 pastel pink ASOS dress as she joined the Chinese President and his wife in Madrid today.

The mother-of-two, 46, wore a stylish collarless brushed wool jacket and dusty pink clutch bag which matched her stilettos for the ceremony at the Royal Palace.

After arriving at the Teatro Real, Letizia then stepped out in the long-sleeve budget midi frock with a purple heron and floral design on the front.

Keeping her brunette hair back in a chignon, Letizia also wore a subtle pink eye shadow and lipstick.

Letizia joined her husband King Felipe VI, 50, as they played host to President Xi Jinping and his wife wife Peng Liyuan on their two-day tour of the country.

Peng, dubbed China’s First Lady by the Chinese press, wore a modern camel coat with oversized lapels.

She also opted for a messier chignon, and kept her jewellery to a minimum by wearing a pair of pearl earrings.

Peng also wore a nude-coloured belted top with a matching skirt.

During the visit, Peng and Letizia inspected actors on stage wearing Chinese warrior suits at the Royal Theatre.
