The moment a pair of alleged carjackers were dragged from a flipped over Toyota Corolla and arrested by police has been caught on camera. 

The man and woman allegedly threatened another woman with a gun before taking her white car in Hervey Bay, Queensland on Friday at 10am.

The pair then allegedly led police on a high-speed chase along the Bruce Highway when they were spotted just after midday.

Shocking footage showed the car swerve between other motorists as police followed behind.

The chase ended after the stolen car side-swiped another vehicle and rolled – 250km from where the car is believed to have been taken.

Police were seen dragging a barefoot and ‘aggressive’ man with two rats tails out of the vehicle, according to The Courier Mail.

Officers were seen with their guns drawn as they walked up to the car.

The collision caused major traffic delays. 

A woman in her 40s was uninjured after the accused allegedly crashed into her Hyundari HRV but was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with two counts of unlawfully using a motor vehicle, damaging property and evading police.

He was also charged with armed robbery, assault, dangerous driving, possession of a shortened firearm and stealing. 

A woman, 24, has been charged with armed robbery, assault and two counts of unlawfully using a motor vehicle.

The pair will be in court on Saturday.
