Queensland police issue alert to find two-year-old girl

A two-year-old girl has been abducted from a childcare centre in Townsville, with police holding serious concerns for her safety.

A 26-year-old woman was seen taking the toddler from the Bathurst Way centre in Mount Louisa just before 4pm on Friday.

She was driving in a red 2015 Nissan Navara with Queensland Registration 461 WIQ towards the Upper Ross area.

It is believed the child may be at significant risk and police are asking the public for help to find her.

Those with information are asked to call 131 564, while you can call 000 for a life threatening emergency.
