‘Last night around 2.30am, my phone sent her my entire photo gallery over text but there was no record of it on my messages app. However, there was record of it on TMobile logs.

‘Why would this happen?’

His comment triggered hysteria on Reddit, with others concerned their own photos could be sent to a contact in their phones at random.

‘Um, this is disturbing,’ one person said.

Others said the glitch could spell the end of relationships.

‘Wonder who’s going to get busted with pictures of their side pieces!’ one person said.

‘Do S9s come with divorce lawyers?’ another quipped.

One person said the situation was worse than handset troubles.

‘Give me a spontaneously exploding phone any day of the week, Samsung, instead of this nightmare scenario,’ he said.

Samsung Australia confirmed they were investigating the reports.

‘We are aware of the reports regarding this matter and our technical teams are looking into it,’ a spokeswoman told News.com.au.

‘We are not aware of any customers in Australia that have experienced this issue.’

In the meantime, Samsung established a question and answer page to address the glitch.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Samsung for further comment.
