Thousands of City2Surf racegoers have appeared looking a little worse for wear after partying long after the annual charity fun run wrapped-up.
Participants let their hair down in Bondi’s bars and restaurants, with the post-race celebrations lasting well into the night.
The popular beachside suburb’s venues were at capacity as about 80,000 people descended on the area at the completion of the event on Sunday.
Exhausted joggers and those simply keen for an afternoon drink mingled as the city was blessed with a bright blue sky to round out the weekend.
Long queues were the norm outside venues, with patrons facing a lengthy wait to get inside and enjoy their post-race celebrations.

The 14km race from Sydney’s Hyde Park to Bondi Beach saw people from all over the globe take place in what has become the world’s biggest fun run, in it’s 48th annual year.
Day-drinkers lined bars and shop fronts, most with a drink in hand and celebratory smiles.

The fun run supported more than 1000 charities, and raised nearly $5 million in total for the organisations.

Ben St Lawrence was the first to cross the City2Surf finish line, with Ellie Pashley being the first female to complete the trek.
St Lawrence, a 36-year-old Australian Olympian, had to sprint the last few metres to beat out fellow Australian Liam Adams for his second title.
